Want to help fellow above-knee amputees?

This research study seeks to explore amputee gait and the subjective experience of socket-based prosthesis use in comparison to someone with an experimental transfemoral amputation. Participants will control a powered knee prosthesis for three to five full-day sessions as data is collected. These findings will be used to develop a control system for an advanced robotic prosthesis.

Testing will take place at the MIT Media Lab (75 Amherst St, Cambridge, MA 02142), and participants will be compensated at a rate of $20/hour for their participation.

Please fill out the screening form if you are interested in potentially being contacted by a researcher to participate in this study: https://forms.gle/E8ySehKjvebq3bCi6
